"Photography for me is all about waiting for the right conditions to come together and then capturing that moment"

Welcome to my Website

I am a professional photographer living in Walton-on-the-Naze, a beautiful seaside town on the Essex Coast. I have two photographic rules: firstly I do not do weddings, and secondly, I do not obey photographic rules. Instead of worrying about positioning of horizon lines, foreground interest ( or foreground distraction as I call it ! ) and all the other constraints, I simply trust my own photographic eye. Always remember, if you adhere to the stock photographic rules you will stifle your own individuality.

I am inspired by the natural elements and believe the key to obtaining my images is an understanding of meteorology, which I have always been interested in. This however means waiting a long time for conditions to be right, but always worth the wait!

I do use certain elements of Photoshop to get the best out of my images, but still firmly believe that you need a good photograph to start with.

And yes, I do get wet taking the storm pictures !

Please enjoy and feel free to comment in my guestbook
